Donatas Motiejunas, a first round draft pick in 2011, is a 7 footer who can run, pass, and shoot. D-Mo has been working hard to put on some muscle since he was drafted so that he won't get over powered down low. He was a star in Lithuania, where he averaged an impressive 21.2 points and 7.4 rebounds a game. The man has some serious talent.

After being drafted the first thing D-Mo did was call out Dwight Howard saying "If he can catch me.. then we'll see." Ironic as can be, Dwight Howard and Motiejunas are now on the same team. I can't wait to see some practice footage of them competing against each other during scrimmages.

It has been 2 years since Motiejunas entered the league and he has been hitting the weights hard, putting on all kinds of muscle. He now weighs 260 pounds and is ready to burst onto the scene in the 2013-2014 season. He will work wonderfully playing the stretch 4 next to Howard. D-mo can knock down the open shot and he also has some crafty, "Scola-like" post moves. He's as versatile as it gets and I'm excited to see what he will do this year.

Donatas Motiejunas is only 22 years old and would most likely be a starter on any other team. With the Rockets being so deep once again, he will more than likely take this year to develop even more. The future looks very bright for Houston and their future superstar.
