Brett Wallace and Jake Elmore Get The Call To The Big Show

I'm just a tad late on this one, but Wally and Elmore were the corresponding moves to replace LeBlanc and Marwin on the 25 man roster. Wallace and Elmore have both spent stints with the big club this year. Wally forced the Astros hand in regards to his call up. He posted a ridiculous line of .326/.398/.554 at AAA Oklahoma City, and has started the last three games since his call-up going 3-12 w/ 3RBI. There is no question that Brett Wallace can hit AAA pitching, I just hope he finds it out this time at the ML level because  this will most likely be his last go round with the Astros if he falters. Elmore will serve as middle infield depth, getting time at short when a right hander is on the hill, and occasionally giving Altuve an off day and filling in at short. Cedeno had a God awful day at the ball-park, and considering his less than satisfactory defense and complete inability to hit right handed pitchers, Elmore may actually step into a heavier role at SS.
