10 Teams In 10 Days 2013-2014: Rank #7
The Denver Nuggets have earned their right on my top 10 list at #7. They also earned my respect last year after quietly having a fantastic season with a record of 57-25, and beating my Houston Rockets all 4 times that they played each other.
The Nuggets had the best offense in the NBA averaging 106.1 points a game. They are also one of the youngest teams in the NBA with the oldest guy in their starting lineup, JaVale McGee at 25 years old. Expect them to continue to terrorize the league for many years to come.
However, Denver did lose Andre Iguduodala, which will hurt them even more defensively. They were already dreadful last season giving up 101.1 points per game.
With the addition of J.J. Hickson, Nate Robinson, and Randy Foye the Nuggets are even better offensively than they were last year, so maybe they won't need defense to win games... "It's a bold strategy Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em."
